Jennifer and Steven eloped at the Grand Holland Estate in Simpsonville, South Carolina on a perfect spring day in March.
Steven travels to Greenville a lot for work and Jennifer comes with him sometimes, so they’ve fallen in love with the city and decided that was where they wanted to get married. They loved the photos they saw of the Grand Holland Estate, but also wanted some photos around Falls Park, a place that had become special to them.
Jennifer’s mom and sister were their only guests. They helped Jennifer get ready upstairs in the Grand Holland and stood by their sides during the ceremony. Steven stood at the bottom of the stairs and Jennifer walked across the room to meet him, with her mom and sister by her side. After the ceremony, we explored the property, which is absolutely stunning inside and out.
We headed to Falls Park, where it was sunny with a perfect temperature and the slightest breeze. We had the most beautiful light coming through the trees by the Carolina Foothills Garden, one of my favorite spots in downtown Greenville. Jennifer and Steven wanted photos with the Hampton Inn in the background, the hotel they stay in each time they visit. There just so happened to be a beautiful pink tree framing the hotel logo right behind the Eugenia Duke bridge–a literally perfect photo opportunity for the two of them. Jennifer was so excited to see how many tulips were blooming around the park. After we wrapped up, Jennifer and Steven changed clothes at the hotel and walked over to Halls Chophouse to have dinner together.
