Most couples I work with have said that they’ve never had professional pictures taken together before. Some people are worried because they haven’t had professional photos since high school. Whether you’re planning a surprise proposal or you and your partner are BOTH excited for your moment to shine, this is a chance to get comfortable with being in front of the camera before your wedding day. You can have photos somewhere pretty and in your favorite outfits for your guest book, save-the-dates, and the walls in your first home. If you also have me as your wedding photographer, then you won’t have a total stranger following you around on your wedding day! We can go to a place that’s special to you, or I can suggest some places I think would be a good fit for you!
You will receive:
Help with coordinating locations and outfits
An online gallery where you can download the edited digital files
A print shop attached to your online gallery
Travel within upstate South Carolina
Proposals
We will have a phone call beforehand to coordinate your proposal, choose the best location, and talk through any other details. I can even help you decide how you’ll spend the rest of the day if you’re not familiar with the area.
Proposal (1 hour)
This gives us enough time to account for crowds, walking around all the pretty scenery, driving between locations, and slowing down to take in your first moments of being engaged. This is strongly recommended for proposals at Pretty Place Chapel.
Starting at $700
Proposal (30 minutes)
Take a few minutes to get some photos together in a beautiful place before you go off to dinner and to share the news with your family and friends! This is only recommended for some locations that don’t involve much walking or driving.

Couple Portraits (1 hour)
No surprises here—you’re both on the same page about what’s happening today, whether it’s photos for your save-the-dates, maternity photos, or just a photo session in a beautiful place for the heck of it.
