Antoinette and Shea were married at Pretty Place on a fall evening, surrounded by some of the people closest to them.
Antoinette and Shea are originally from Florida, but they now live near the coast in North Carolina. They knew they wanted to get married in the mountains, somewhere completely different from where they’ve lived, and Pretty Place is close to where Shea’s parents live now. Antoinette got ready at Shea’s parents’ house before everyone headed to Pretty Place. It was a perfect October day—it was a Friday evening with sunny skies and the temperature had just started to feel cool during the day, with just a little fall color starting to come through in the trees. After the sun went down, we got some beautiful dark blue and pink in the sky.
Antoinette’s brother walked her down the aisle and she privately gave Shea her dad’s wedding ring. Their baby girl got to shine in so many photos and she rode in a wagon down the aisle. There was a small table set up at the corner of the chapel with a beautiful cake. After it got dark, they rode away together in their truck with “just married” written on the back windshield.

My name is Christine (Scott) Gow and I’m an elopement photographer based out of Greenville, South Carolina. I’m a wife and a beagle mom.
