Engagement photos in Greenville, SC | Alex & Regan

Alex and Regan made a weekend trip up to Greenville. They’d been saying for a while that they wanted professional photos together, so Alex used it as an opportunity to propose. When they were trying to decide where to go, they realized that the Airbnb they were staying in had a state park pass, so they could check out any state park they wanted at no cost. Paris Mountain was the closest state park to where they’d be staying and the rest of Greenville, so they decided to do the photos there. Since Regan knew that there would be photos that day, Alex didn’t have to come up with a reason for her to dress nicely and have her hair done.

Even though I’ve been to every state park and Paris Mountain is the closest one to where I live, I’d never actually done anyone’s photos there, so I was excited to go there with Alex and Regan. It was early October, so we had the beginnings of fall color. The weather was absolutely perfect and we only saw a few people—exactly what you’d want for a fall weekend.

Alex proposed to Regan on the bridge in front of the dam. I was far enough away that I couldn’t hear them over the waterfall, but they hugged for a long time afterwards. This ring was absolutely stunning!

After the proposal, we headed back up the trail towards the nature center and took some photos with Lake Placid before we left. We headed to Falls Park, another place Alex and Regan had never been before. After we wrapped up photos, they called their family and friends and went to Rick Erwin’s to celebrate over dinner.

Here are some of my favorite photos from Alex and Regan’s engagement at Paris Mountain and Falls Park! If you’re still looking for a photographer, read more about my elopement and engagement photography services!

Ready for the best day ever?

My name is Christine (Scott) Gow and I’m an elopement photographer based out of Greenville, South Carolina. I’m a wife and a beagle mom. The three of us have visited beautiful places in every corner of South Carolina, to include all 48 of our state parks. We love finding new outdoor places to visit, but we also love hanging out on the couch and watching Pixar movies.

One thing I love about South Carolina is that it’s not just the beaches and colorful houses that you imagine when you picture it. Whether you’re looking for mountains, beaches, or anything in between; I can help you find the perfect place for the two of you and make it as smooth of a day as possible. No matter how you two choose to spend your day, I’m happy you’re doing it the way that you want.

I can’t wait to meet you!
