Greenville, SC Engagement Photos | Trent & Caroline

Caroline and Trent were engaged in downtown Greenville!

They were visiting from Louisiana. Caroline had visited Greenville once before for a wedding and loved it enough to stay there for a few days before she and Trent headed to visit some friends in the North Carolina mountains. They got a hotel downtown, Trent scoped out the proposal spot while Caroline was in a yoga class, and they went to the Saturday market.

When Trent was looking through spots to propose, he told me he really liked the photos I had from the Carolina Foothills Garden Club Sanctuary, which is tucked into the woods near Falls Park. Since that spot gets dark quickly and it was a really cloudy day, we got there about an hour earlier than we planned so it wouldn’t be as dark.

Caroline had decided to wear all black that day and have her nails done in black since it was October. Between her outfit, the dark and cloudy day, and the stone and ivy scenery in that section of Falls Park, we had all the Halloween vibes you can get without actually looking like it’s Halloween. We discovered she and I both like My Chemical Romance and had stories to share. I even found a coleus plant at the top of Falls Park to use for her ring detail shots, which ended up looking really cool for fall photos!

Since Trent had made a dinner reservation at Passerelle, we ended our photos right in front of it. Passerelle is at the end of Liberty Bridge and overlooks the Reedy River Falls. The exterior is made to look like a French bistro, so it gave some cool European vibes.

Ready for the best day ever?

My name is Christine (Scott) Gow and I’m an elopement photographer based out of Greenville, South Carolina. I’m a wife and a beagle mom. The three of us have visited beautiful places in every corner of South Carolina, to include all 48 of our state parks. We love finding new outdoor places to visit, but we also love hanging out on the couch and watching Pixar movies.

One thing I love about South Carolina is that it’s not just the beaches and colorful houses that you imagine when you picture it. Whether you’re looking for mountains, beaches, or anything in between; I can help you find the perfect place for the two of you and make it as smooth of a day as possible. No matter how you two choose to spend your day, I’m happy you’re doing it the way that you want.

I can’t wait to meet you!
