Tristen and Cam were married at Bent Creek Farm in Belton, South Carolina on a beautiful September day. They were joined by a handful of their family and friends for a low-key, but super fun wedding day!
Tristen's daughters served as flower girls, her cousin was the ring bearer, and their friends were the officiant and the videographer. There was so much love all around them throughout the day. A recurring theme throughout this wedding day was the idea that your the person you marry is the person who makes you feel safe, loved, and valued as you are, even when things get hard--a reminder all of us can use.
Tristen loves sunflowers--she even has a tattoo of one--and wanted to incorporate them into her wedding day. From the florals to her daughters' dresses to their beautiful little cake, the sunflowers were everywhere! I loved the unique color scheme they used with them, using teal as an accent color. It also coordinated with Tristen's black reception dress.
I loved Tristen and Cam's unique music choices--their first dance was a cover of Earth Angel by Death Cab for Cutie. After they were pronounced husband and wife, they walked back up the aisle to Closing Time by Semisonic, which was also the last song of the reception. We had the most perfect weather and the full moon was shining bright as the night ended.
Here are some of the people who helped make this day possible:
Venue: Bent Creek Farm
DJ: Greg of DJs For You
Hair and makeup: Melissa from Cotton Rouge and Co
Photographer: Christine Scott Photography

Ready for the best day ever?
My name is Christine (Scott) Gow and I’m an elopement photographer based out of Greenville, South Carolina. I’m a wife and a beagle mom. The three of us have visited beautiful places in every corner of South Carolina, to include all 48 of our state parks. We love finding new outdoor places to visit, but we also love hanging out on the couch and watching Pixar movies.
One thing I love about South Carolina is that it’s not just the beaches and colorful houses that you imagine when you picture it. Whether you’re looking for mountains, beaches, or anything in between; I can help you find the perfect place for the two of you and make it as smooth of a day as possible. No matter how you two choose to spend your day, I’m happy you’re doing it the way that you want.
I can’t wait to meet you!
